Breakfast Guru Restaurant & Bar

Hubby, our 17 month old, and I had brunch on a Thursday. We had the bacon delight Benedict, breakfast burrito w/ steak, and kids size of waffle w/ strawberries and sweet cream. It was all delicious, and great portions for the price. The place is nice and clean. Staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended. We’ll be back next time we’re in town.

Arrived and informed it would be a 20 minute wait even though the tables weren't full. Probably due to short staffing. Very nice waitress named Kim served us promptly. Enjoyed a leisurely cup of coffee and tea while we waited for our entrees, pictured. Bagel sandwich was just okay. Probably a frozen bagel. GF crepe was really good, don't judge it by the look of the outside. Full of creamy cheese and spinach inside. Hash browns only so so. Still, would go again and try other dishes.

$.5-$$, Reservations recommended if not going early in the morning (around business opening). Would recommend Breakfast Guru for families looking for a cheap to semi cheaper meal while I would not recommend if you are in a hurry. My wait to receive food from sitting down was 40 min on a slow day with 3 people. This off the beaten path for breakfast and lunch location offers a semi cheaper options with many unique dishes to fit any pallet. *Cappuccinos and coffee is a tad expensive. While the service was quite nice and cheery what I was not impressed with was the execution of the dishes and vibe of the place. I was surprised to hear from a server that the tacos I ordered were not meant for holding?! I was also surprised at the over abundance of potato's which made the dish feel like it was lacking ingredients. While I could taste the cross fusion I felt like it was drowned out. From the food to the vibe, I couldn't quite put my finger on what the owners were trying to go with? Having Italian items (from what I'm guessing is the old restaurant that used to be in its place), old world items like maps on one wall, quotes on another wall and yet felt like a cross between a diner diner and a bar with colorful booths and multiple tvs.

Delicious gluten-free pancakes! I ordered the pecan cluster pancakes, gluten-free, I was not disappointed. We came with a party of 13 and they accommodated us without issue. Everyone seemed pleased with their meal. The waitress did a great job taking care of us!

This was a great breakfast joint. The service was fast and the food was good. The Crepes could have used a little more filling and the potatoes needed some seasoning but everything else was perfect!!
